You may be hesitant during the current health crisis to seek treatment for your mental health or addiction concerns; however, you may also be experiencing increased stress, anxiety, or substance use at this time.

We recognize that mental healthcare is essential healthcare, and we have responded quickly and effectively to COVID-19 to ensure you can seek treatment safely and confidently.

Virtual Assessments
What is an Assessment?

The path to recovery begins with an initial assessment — an evaluation of your mental health and social functioning. The assessment, a set of questions asked in a private setting by a health care provider, gathers information about self-perception, the ability to function with others, significant life events, and a medical history. The goal of the assessment is to help determine the best care plan for you to return to well-being.

How Can I Schedule an Assessment?

Scheduling an assessment can be done by calling, chatting with us, or by visiting us in person.

How Are Assessments Performed?

There are three types of assessments available:

In person We welcome in-person assessments and are taking all necessary precautions by following CDC guidelines for patient safety.

By telephone We can immediately perform your assessment over the phone to ensure reduced wait times and immediate access to the right program.

By secure video conference We are happy to schedule a private video appointment for anyone with computer or smartphone access.

Online Therapy
How Do I Start Online Therapy?

Your recovery begins with an assessment with one of our licensed behavioral health professionals designed to connect you to the appropriate care plan. That assessment can be scheduled by calling, chatting or visiting the facility in person. Online therapy may be recommended by a medical professional based on the results of the initial assessment.

How Does Online Therapy Work?

Once you have enrolled in online therapy after your assessment, either the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) or the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), you will receive a schedule and information regarding initial communication with your assigned therapist and therapy group using Zoom.

Online therapy is conducted much the same as in-person group therapy, except you will be connected with your group via video conference. Your therapist will use evidence-based treatment to create dialogue and provide a safe environment to work through your behavioral health concerns and help you make significant changes.

Participation in tele-therapy is simple: a computer, laptop, or smartphone and a valid email address is all that is needed.

Our Online Therapy Guidelines

It is important to be in a private space during the session, away from distractions and other people, to ensure the privacy of the group. You may prefer to use headphones during your sessions.

  • Refrain from taking calls, texting, using social media, emailing, direct messaging, and any other interactions while in session.
  • Attend all scheduled sessions on time for the full duration. Regular breaks are scheduled by your therapist.
  • Communicate all scheduling issues in advance with your therapist. Late arrivals, early departures and absences that have not been shared with your therapist will initiate the unscheduled absence process, which may result in the facility contacting your emergency contact or requesting a wellness check from local authorities. Your safety is our number one priority.
  • Make the most of your online therapy by engaging with the therapist and the group, sharing your thoughts and feelings and doing work outside the group, such as keeping a journal of your progress.
Inpatient COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Steps We’re Taking To Ensure Your Safety

Our Leadership Team and staff members are well-informed on current COVID-19 information using trusted federal, state, and local information sources. Our facility’s infection prevention specialist is ensuring compliance with all guidelines and best practices for patient and staff safety.

Enhanced Cleaning Procedures

Housekeeping team members have implemented enhanced measures in order to provide the highest-quality environment of care.

Mandatory Health Screenings

Upon arrival, you will be asked if you are experiencing cough, cold, or flu-like symptoms and, if so, you will be asked to wear a mask. You will then complete a brief infection screening as directed by the CDC. In this same way, our employees are being screened each day upon arrival to work.

If qualifying symptoms are present and travel to restricted regions or contact with a COVID-19 positive patient has been made within 14 days, you may be asked to contact your medical provider for follow-up care or transported to a local medical facility.

PPE Practices

All patients and employees are monitored daily for COVID-19 symptoms and are instructed to wear masks. Personal protective equipment is provided when guidelines dictate their use.

Restricted Visitation

No visitors are allowed at this time; however, you can connect with your loved ones by means of virtual visitation on your smartphone or a device provided to you.

Your mental health or addiction treatment should not wait and, with these extensive safety protocols firmly in place, you can feel confident trusting us with your essential mental healthcare.
